The short version

• The only personal information this website collects is what you type into the contact form.

The contact form

When you use the form we ask for your name, phone number, email address, your car's registration number, its make and model, and your message. We use this information only to deal with your enquiry — our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)).

Your submission is delivered to our email inbox by our website supplier, The Code Abides Limited, acting as our processor. It passes through two specialist services to get to us: Cloudflare (which hosts this website and screens the form for spam) and Resend (which sends the email). Neither the website nor these services keep a copy of your message; it exists only in our inbox once delivered. Cloudflare and Resend are US companies and appropriate safeguards (including the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and UK Addendum contract terms) cover any transfer.

We keep enquiry emails only as long as we need them to help you, and then delete them.

Cookies

This website does not set cookies or use similar tracking technologies, so there is no cookie banner and nothing to consent to. (The spam check on our contact form, Cloudflare Turnstile, runs without setting cookies.)

Hosting logs

Like almost every website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes technical information — such as IP addresses — transiently to deliver pages securely and defend against attacks. We do not receive or keep this information.

Your rights

You have rights over your personal information, including to ask for a copy of it, to have it corrected, and to have it deleted. To exercise any of them, contact us using the details above. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
